–Jealousy is a strange thing. It’s gotten hold of me in various ways quite a few times. Of all its primitive strains, however, maybe the most unusual one I’ve encountered is that one of feeling jealous of a sweetheart’s former lover. I’ve been known to say (half-jokingly), "There you go again-cheating on me before you knew me!"
I don’t remember much about working on this with Jennifer, but it was written during a period when we were writing quite a bit. There are several songs we collaborated on around that time that became staples in my shows-songs I still perform often.
