I arrived in Galway this morning, and it is a glorious blue sky day. So good to be back. Always.

On Sunday I’ll be welcoming my 2024 tour group. We will be heading south to Cork, then working our way back up the coast to Clare.

2. My “Insider Music-Food-Soul Tour” exploring the true hearts of Nashville, Memphis & the Mississippi Delta is coming in November…

Tour dates: Monday, November 4 through Wednesday, November 13, 2024

I’m partnering on this unique get-inside-the music-art-food-&-local color tour with my longtime agent/manager Shauna Jamison, and we are beyond excited about it.

We’ll assemble in Nashville, and we will be based 3 nights there, 3 nights in Memphis and 3 in the heart of the Mississippi Delta (Cleveland MS). Then we’ll circle back to Nashville for a final night there before departing next day.

—Cost of tour includes all lodging, travel during the tour, all admissions, 3 group meals, private concerts, and much more.

3. Song of the Month: A Promise to Harry

Tom Prasada-Rao, Michael Lille and I met in 1993 down in Texas at the Kerrville Folk Festival and not long thereafter formed a trio called The Sherpas.

Last year we released a new album titled Promise to Harry. And for my June Song-of-the-Month I’m featuring the album’s title song, with Tom Prasada-Rao on lead vocal. The three of us wrote the song together, and Tom owns it—just as he's owned every note he's ever sung.

Click HERE to stream it from the home page of my website. And of course you can stream the whole album on Spotify, Apple Music et al.

5. Wisdom for our time
